Defending champions Blacklist International is set for another success
As you all know, the M4 World Championship is underway and currently reached the Knockout Stage. Blacklist International one of the successful teams is looking at another triumph this year. The former M3 World Championship winner is back at it again even though they failed to claim the top spot in the Group Stage standings. Falcon Esports secured the pole position after defeating Blacklist International twice.
The Burmese esports organization went ahead to beat the Philippines-based esports team Blacklist International. Though this doesn’t stop the team from registering their spot in the Upper Bracket of the Knockout stage. Currently, the team seems to be on a mission to clinch another victory and crown itself as the first-ever team to claim back-to-back Mobile Legends World Champion titles.
What happened so far?
Blacklist International after failing against the Myanmar-based team Falcon Esports in the group stage fixture, the defending champions were unable to maintain their unbeaten streak. Following the victory over Turkish side Incendio Supremacy in the tiebreaker, they were able to advance to the upper bracket. Blacklist, Falcon, and Incendio were involved in a three-way tie and finished with a final record of 2 wins and 1 loss.
Falcon Esports made Blacklist International lose again in the tiebreaker, this was possible because of Oheb aka Kiel Soriano, Falcon’s gold laner performance. The player helped Falcon Esports secure the top spot with a perfect finish in the tiebreaker.
Speculations and beliefs
Blacklist International is still in a strong position despite their turbulent start, they will kick off the knockout stage where they will face Brazilian team RRQ Akira. Many believe that Mobile Legends teams from Southeast Asia are better than teams that are from different regions of the world Mainly the teams from Indonesia and the Philippines are the ones who prevail.
Blacklist International’s M3 Journey
Blacklist International and the players know the situation pretty well. Back at M3, the North American BloodThirstyKings defeated Blacklist International 3-2 in the opening round of the knockout stage. The Filipino team is well aware that their superiority could be their downfall, even though they went on to win M3 World Championship.
