The League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK)Spring Split 2023, the first split of 2023, is scheduled to begin on January 18
The league will have new start times beginning with the LCK Spring Split 2023, however, the weekly schedule will not alter. On weekdays, Match 2 will move from 8 p.m. KST to 7.30 p.m. KST. On the weekends, Match 1 will start at 3 p.m. KST instead of 5 p.m. KST, and Match 2 will start at 5.30 p.m. KST instead of 8 p.m. KST.
Ten teams will compete during the round-robin group stage of the LCK Spring Split 2023. It takes the following format:
- There are ten teams.
- Setting up a double round-robin.
- Best-of-three is used in matches (BO3).
- For the LCK Spring Playoffs, the top six teams advance.
Playoffs Format
- Double-elimination format beginning in Round 2.
- Round 2 is avoided for the top two seeds.
- Round 1 begins with the third through sixth seeds, and the losers are eliminated.
- Each game is best-of-five (BO5).
- The victor is entitled to compete in the 2023 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI).
