CS GO Blast Premier Spring, Groups A and B fixed their Grand Finalists
Blast Premier Spring Groups 2023, organised by Blast in sponsorship with Betway, CS.Money, EPOS and L33T Gaming have provided a good entertaining display so far. As the tournament approaches its end, fans are witnessing more intense games with each day a new surprise awaits them. The tournament has reached Day 6 which was played yesterday i.e., 24th January. Fans witnessed the Lower Bracket actions from both Groups A and B, Heroic and OG won their respective fixtures and made it to their respective Group Grand Finals. The losing teams, on the other hand, moved to the Play-In Stage. The teams that will secure the top 6 positions will advance to the Spring Final. The remaining 7th to 12th position teams will move to the Spring Showdown.
Heroic and OG winners of Day 6
The Day 6 action was live-streamed on Blast Premier’s official YouTube channel. First Group A began the match against Evil Geniuses and the second game of the day was from Group B’s Lower Bracket Final which was played between OG vs Team Liquid. With this, both groups finalised their Grand Finalists.
Group A Lower Bracket Final
It was a best of 3 game series and was also an elimination round. Heroic was able to beat Evil Geniuses and secured their place in the Grand Final.
Evil Geniuses vs Heroic
(Bo3 score: 1-2)
- Nuke map – Evil Geniuses made it 12-3 in the first half, and the second half ended with 4-6. Evil Geniuses won the game by 16-9.
- Overpass map – Heroic made it 2-13 in the first half and later with an easy 0-2 finish in the second half, Heroic won the game by 2-16.
- Mirage map – Heroic again began with a dominating start, they made it 3-12 in the first half and later with a 2-4 finish in the second half, Heroic prevailed over Evil Geniuses.
OG vs Team Liquid
(Bo3 score: 2-1)
- Mirage map – OG enjoyed the lead by 8-7. In the first half. Later, the second half ended with a score of 8-5 and OG won the game by 16-12.
- Ancient map – Team Liquid made it 7-8 and performed great gameplay which made it 1-8 in the second half. And the final score came out as 8-16.
- Overpass map – OG picked a 1 round lead in the first half as the score remained 8-7. The second-half score remained 8-3 and OG won the game with a 16-10 finish.
Following the conclusion of the games, Vitality will now face Heroic in the Group A Grand Final. FaZe Clan will face OG in the Grand Final in Group B. Group C is yet to finish their respective matches.
