Revenant Esports becomes Champions of Valorant LAN event
The final day of the Esportz Premier Series Grand Finale concluded yesterday. The year-long tournament which had 5 different esports titles, ended with the last remaining one. The Valorant LAN event which took place at the OPAL Convention Center in Borivali, Mumbai finally concluded and Revenant Esports emerged as the champions.
The Grand Final of the Valorant tournament gave a strong showing between Lethal Esports and Revenant Esports. Both teams gave their best performance but it was Revenant who got past them and won the nail-biting Grand Final with a 3-2 win. Though the day gave a total of 3 matches starting from the semi-finals before moving towards the Grand Final. Catch the moments of the games here at the Esportz official YouTube Channel.
Semifinal recaps
Two semi-finals were played before fans witnessed the Grand Final. The games that were played were of best of 3 games.
Lethal Esports vs ROG Academy
- Map 1: The game began on the Haven map. First half score remained 8-4 in favour of Lethal Esports. Later they concluded they made it 5-1 in the second half and concluded the game with a 13-5 finish.
- Map 2: After that, the game began on the Breeze map this first half score remained 9-3 and later the second half ended with a score of 4-7. The final outcome of the game was 13-10 and Lethal esports headed for the Grand Final.
Revenant Esports vs Ohh Bey
- Map 1: It was the Icebox map where these teams met. Ohh Bey began with a win as they made it 2-10 in the first half. Second half score remained 5-3 but Ohh Bey won the game with a 7-13 score.
- Map 2: Bind was the second map of the game. And both teams force it for overtime. Revenant Esports won the game with a score of 14-12.
- Map 3: Both made it to the decider map Haven. Revenant Esports came out strong and made it a 13-5 win. With this win, both teams headed for the Grand Final.
The Grand Final
With the conclusion of the Semi-Finals, now it was time for the Grand Final which consists of the best of 5 game series.
Lethal Esports vs Revenant Esports
- Pearl Map – The first game was really interesting as the first-half score remained 5-7. Later the second half was drawn by Lethal and forced the match to overtime. Lethal Esports claimed the first game with a score of 14-12.
- Icebox Map – Revenant Esports were completely dominant in the first half and made it 2-10. Later the second-half score remained 5-3 and Revenant Esports won by 7-13.
- Haven Map – First half remained 7-5 but the second half score settled for a 2-8 finish. Revenant won the game by a 9-13 score.
- Ascent Map – Lethal Esports made it 2-2 in the Bo5 games and made it a 13-11 win.
- Breeze Map – Revenant made it a good finish and claimed the game by 10-13.
With this, Revenant ended the Esportz Premier Series Grand Finale with a win in the first LAN event of 2023. And claimed the prestigious trophy. The year-long series finally concluded.
