Global Esports CEO shares his opinion on Foreign players in VCL SA
In a recent panel discussion on the ongoing tournament of Valorant Challengers League South Asia, the CEO of Global Esports, Dr Rushindra Sinha shared his thoughts on foreign and local players. According to Sinha, signing foreign players as active rosters was a short-term fix to a much larger problem. In the ongoing VCL South Asia Split 1, out of 10 teams, 8 teams have foreign players playing as their active rosters with local players. This provides the local players with the opportunity to learn and assess the gameplay of the imported players. However, Sinha feels that the local players have to grow up and level their gaming to improve the entire gaming scenario in India.

Global Esports is an eminent esports organisation, which is the only Indian team competing in the VCT Pacific league. However, due to visa issues, SkRossi and Lightingfast were not able to make it to the first match of the tournament, which was between T1 esports and Global esports. In the panel discussion at VCL South Asia, both Sinha and SkRossi were present, sharing their opinion on foreign and local Valorant players in the tournament. Even though the majority of the teams have foreign players imported into the teams, Sinha feels these are short-term fixes to a much larger problem. The Indian gaming industry has numerous talented players who have to grow their skills and understanding of the game.
