About the CS:GO Retakes
Retakes is a new game mode that was included in Operation Broken Fang’s 3rd December 2020 update for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. It was available during the period of the new update. After Operation Broken Fang came to an end on 3rd May 2021, the game mode was maintained and relocated from its new independent game mode into the War Games category of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. In this intense game mode, three Ts defended a planted explosive against four CTs. At the start of each round, players had to select a loadout card and then reclaimed or defended the bomb sites. The first team to win eight rounds was termed the winner.
