Immortals are to play substitute for mid-lane for the remaining LCS fixtures
Recently in LCS, Immortals Progressive will play without their midlaner Nick Abbot better known as Ablazeolive. The player is taking a break from the competitive actions for personal reasons. However, fans wonder as the news comes while the LCS Summer Split is still ongoing. Starting next week, Immortals’ League of Legends team will play with a different mid-lane player as the final seven games of the schedule are up. Challengers-level midlaner Bolulu will take care of the midlane for the remaining matches. The break taken by Ablazeolive came after two years of service with the team, but as the personal reasons are there, the team agreed to this and supports the decision taken by the player.

About Ablazeolive’s statement and team’s position
Ablazeolive revealed that this decision was not easy and he had to take it as it suited as the best decision. After thinking a lot, he stepped down from the playing roster and thanked his teammates, staff, and the organisation for supporting his decision and understanding his mental state. Currently, in this League season, Immortals have a terrible run. Their record stands at 2-9 after the games of the Spring Split. They are holding the 9th place in the standings, and after them, Dignitas have only 1 win.
The substitute takes in-charge of the Midlane
Immortals’ Challengers player Bolulu will fill the mid-lane spot marking his LCS debut. In NA Challengers, Bolulu has impressed and attracted many people. Bolulu carried out a great form and helped his team to get 2 wins, 7 draws and 2 losses in the best of 2 game series. His performance has been good enough, and he can be a perfect fit in the squad to fill the spot that Ablazeolive used to have.
Bolulu’s previous experiences as a Midlaner
LCS will be his debut, but the player previously faced many major region teams. He qualified for the World Championship with Supermassive and Galatasaray in 2020 and 2021 in the TCL. It was a great year as with Supermassive, he faced MAD Lions in his first-ever best of 5 series against a significant region team. Well, his experience will be helpful for the team and for him to play the remaining fixtures of LCS.
Conclusion
With the Ablazeolive break, the return is not yet confirmed. But the team and the fans expect the player to return in the Summer. Nothing is as confirmed as of yet, the substitute will help the squad for the remaining fixtures. Read more on LCS and roster changes.
