2023 Call of Duty League - OpTic Texas vs Seattle Surge
Seth “Scump” Abner retired from the professional Call of Duty scene and also left his former team OpTic Texas a few days back. It was a big impact as Scump’s contribution to the team was massive, given he had more than a decade of experience as a professional Call of Duty player. Following that, Scump’s place in the team was filled by Brandon “Dashy” Otell.
With all of these changes to the OpTic Texas roster, the team played its first pro match today, against Seattle Surge in the online qualifiers for Major Two at the 2023 Call of Duty League. Although the team is now having to play with a shuffled roster, the synergy was on track.
