Gamers8 presents PUBG MOBILE World Invitational is scheduled to start on July 11
In a recent press release, PUBG MOBILE officially unveiled all the information that players and fans were anticipating about the forthcoming PUBG MOBILE World Invitational (PMWI). PUBG MOBILE World Invitational is powered by Gamers8, the world’s biggest esports and gaming event. Additionally, it is the first international tournament of the 2023 PUBG MOBILE Esports Calendar and will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 11 to July 16.
On July 11th, the PMWI Allstars Stage will kick off, pitting the most popular 18 teams in the world against each other in a three-day intense competition. 14 teams will be chosen through the PMWI Allstars Vote, which will be held in-game from May 26 to May 30.
What does the tournament highlight?
On July 11 through July 13, 18 teams will compete in the PMWI Allstars Stage, the first stage of the tournament. The teams will be selected through fan voting and a few direct invitations where the top five teams will advance to the PMWI Main Tournament, the next phase. The PMWI Main Tournament, which will feature 16 teams from July 14 through 16, will then commence following PMWI Allstars Stage. These 16 teams will include those that qualified from their respective regional championships, the top five PMWI Allstars Stage teams, as well as other teams who were directly invited. The PUBG MOBILE World Invitational will not be one to miss with a whopping $3,000,000 prize pool.
Know about the PMWI Main Tournament:
The PMWI Main Tournament, which is scheduled from July 14 to July 16, will pit the top five PMWI Allstars teams against each of the four PMPL regional champions, the top two PMSL SEA teams, along with the invites from China (top two teams from 2023 PEL Spring). The other regions include Japan/South Korea (due to the PUBG Mobile Showdown 2023: Korea vs Japan), Saudi Esports League Champion Twisted Minds, and one additional team. A total of 16 teams will compete and each team will contend to be named the PMWI Champion and take home the largest share of the $3,000,000 prize pool. The event promises to be a thrilling summer tournament between the most successful and popular PUBG MOBILE Esports teams.
