s1mple’s take on NAVI Valorant team on Tarik’s VCT LOCK//IN re-stream
One of the popular CS:GO stars and global esports players for NAVI, s1mple, recently appeared on tarik, aka Tarik Celik’s VCT LOCK//IN stream. The streamer was streaming the match between Team Secret vs NAVI. The CS:GO star s1mple stated that he would have destroyed Team Secret if he was on NAVI’s Valorant roster as NAVI was trailing. However, NAVI later outperformed their opponents and made it to the Quarterfinals. As you all know, Valorant is the game where most of the CS:GO professionals have transitioned. s1mple is a player who can perfectly fit into the Valorant scene. As he claimed to destroy the opponents, NAVI will have a complete improvement for their Valorant roster if s1mle replaced anyone.
s1mple and his views on the Valorant scene
While on the live stream, s1mple, while watching the game, said that he would have shot the enemies in the head. And just because of this, he mainly plays Reyna. He believes that for Valorant, he doesn’t need to have any skills. With his excellence in CS:GO, being an AWPer and rifler, it’s usual that s1mple will pick Reyna as she is a duelist.
Many asked s1mple if he would swap between the games. However, he didn’t deny it. He wants to achieve something in CS:GO before changing his games. He will be exceptionally brilliant if he gets enough Valorant practice and a good team around him.
About the NAVI’s match against Team Secret
The NAVI Valorant roster currently has players from FunPlus Phoenix. The roster got built last year when NAVI paid a hefty amount to acclaim the players. The team performed well and faced Team Secret in the Round of 16 fixture. The FunPlus Phoenix 4 players joined cNed and formed a solid team.
Natus Vincere won the first map with a score of 8-13 on the Icebox Map. Later on, the team was extremely dominating on the Pearl map and won with a score of 4-13. cNed became the match MVP as he performed well for his team.
Conclusion
One of the most well-known players in CSGO and all of esports, s1mple, claimed that NAVI’s Valorant squad would perform better with him on it. He would wipe out any NAVI player sitting on the stage if he was there instead of them. The next hurdle for NAVI is against Leviatan in the Quarterfinals, which will be live today.
