The status of Visa approval for SkRossi and Lightiningfast remains unclear, ahead of the start of VCT Pacific League 2023
Ganesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar and Abhirup “Lightiningfast” Choudhury from India are going to miss the first match of the VCT Pacific League 2023 starting on 25th March in Seoul because of the delay in visa approval. The news came after a recent tweet from SkRossi and Rushindra Sinha that the delay is caused because the visa is still in the process of approval. The absence of SkRossi will have a huge impact on the initial match of the team as stated by the CEO of Global Esports Rushindra Sinha.
Rushindra Sinha previously tweeted that all necessary documents have already been submitted, and the delay has nothing to do with any fault from the players, Riot Games, or Global Esports. The global esports team is trying to do whatever it takes to bring SkRossi to VCT Pacific League. SkRossi is an important player since he created history by becoming the first player from India to compete in the International Valorant tournament. He was also named the 14th-best Asian player of 2021 by VALO2ASIA. Therefore, his absence in this vital tournament is a matter of concern for the team.

Global Esports could have to play VCT Pacific with five players
Global Esports will be facing T1 on the first day of the VCT Pacific League competition starting on 25th March. The team roster will be without SkRossi and Lightningfast, and it is likely to play with AYRIN, Bazzi, texture, Monyet, and WRONSKI. The absence of SkRossi from the roster is a matter of concern since WRONSKI has not yet played a professional Valorant match since joining Global Esports. However, in a recent tweet to fans, Rushindra Sinha said that the parties involved in the tournament are operating to their maximum capabilities to resolve the issue. Global Esports is working together with authorities for visa approval and ensuring that SkRossi arrives at the earliest to participate in the VCT Pacific League 2023.
The VCT Pacific League will start on 25th March and continue till 28th May. Out of which, the top three teams will qualify for the VCT Masters in Tokyo in June.
