China is the leading country with the majority of female players, which stands at 308 million. Southeast Asia follows the maximum number of female players, around 100 million. With an increasing number of female players, the esports industry now contains both male and female players in a competitive setting. Therefore, the thoughts expressed by Gnana Shekar will help identify and empower female players in India, blooming and enhancing the overall gaming industry.
