Marved will act as a replacement for TenZ
In a recent Twitter announcement, Adam Kaplan, the VALORANT head coach for Sentinels made major changes to the team, ahead of the VCT Americas super week. As per the new decision, the team plans on giving Tyson “TenZ” Ngo a week off and bringing in Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen to replace him. This decision comes after lots of consideration from both the player and the team, allowing them to come to a proper understanding. However, there were justified reasons for providing TenZ with a temporary rest, especially ahead of VCT Americas super week.
Health and Personal Issues Surrounding TenZ
Tyson TenZ Ngo is one of the most prominent VALORANT players. However, TenZ is currently suffering from COVID and also had a finger injury, which lead him to poor performance during the match against Levitan. Team Sentinels have high expectations from TenZ, but they understand the immense pressure that the team is undergoing.
TenZ required this break due to his health issues, as well as, for his fiance, another popular player and VALORANT content creator, Kyedae. She is suffering from acute leukaemia, a form of cancer. Due to this, head coach Kaplan took in Marved as a replacement for TenZ for the upcoming super week VCT Americas matches against LOUD and MIBR.
Sentinels to enhance their performance
Head Coach Adam Kaplan’s current focus is to improvise the performance of the team in the upcoming matches of VCT Americas super week. This comes soon after providing a temporary break to TenZ and placing Marved on the team. Fans and viewers of VCT Americas are looking forward to the team’s performance with Sacy being a world-class Initiator with Zekken, controlling the duelist strategy.
Conclusion
Fans and spectators look forward to the upcoming matches between Sentinels and LOUD, waiting for a thrilling match. With TenZ temporarily benched, it all depends on the performance of Marved.
