Fnatic is in search of a new player after their third man steps down
When it comes to the APAC-N region for Apex Legends, the name that comes to mind is Fnatic. The team has been a true force in that region as they went on to achieve great success. The Japanese side secured 1st place in the Split One Pro League 2023, 4th place in the Championship 2022, and 8th in the recent Split One London Playoffs. They remained the dominant side in the APAC-N region and most of the other teams feared competing against them. However, the bootcamp now has to look for their first roster change as their player MatsuTasu aka Keita Matsuura announced through a Twitter post that he is stepping down from the squad after Fnatic failed to perform well.
ご報告です!

まだFNATICを脱退することが決まった訳ではないです。

MatsuTash’s reason behind stepping down
As announced through the Twitter post, MatsuTash stated that he will be leaving the roster. Though there is no such announcement regarding his departure as he himself clarified it. Fnatic gave a green light regarding the player’s consent and allowed him to be free to explore his future decisions and options. He explained the whole scenario about what is going through his head through his Twitch profile. The player explained his stepping down is because of his mental health conditions.
It was impacted by multiple factors such as stage fear and not performing as well in the tournaments, as he did in the previous one. This led him towards not being able to give his best to make important callouts and support Fnatic’s playoff run. He went on to say that he missed out on many important fights and hurried in their team rotations. The example remained of the use of Valkyrie ultimate in game eight against the champions TSM, who took the lead. With no controversy around the choice, MatsuTasu concluded his stream by stating his continuous support for his teammates and Fnatic’s coach Kamaneko. They agreed on MatsuTasu’s decision.
