Summarization of the VALORANT Challengers Spain
Riot Games and LVP organised the VALORANT Challengers Spain 2023 Spain: Rising Split 1 in sponsorship with MediaMarkt Games, Intel Espana and Domino’s Pizza. It is being played as both an online/offline event. The offline event is taking place at Ayuntamiento de Torrevieja which is in Torrevieja. It is a part of the Valorant Challengers League series which commenced on the 8th of January. A total of 10 teams are competing and will continue till the 11th of March. The tournament is spread across 18 rounds and now it has reached Round 7. Yesterday, Round 7 came to a close and Ramboot Club, UCAM Esports Club, Case Esports, Team Queso and KPI Gaming won their respective games. Recap of actions from Round 7
A total of 5 matches were played yesterday 22nd January. All these games were the best of 1 game series. It began with Ramboot Club vs AYM Esports then went ahead to Movistar Riders vs UCAM Esports Club, the third game of the day was ZETA vs Case Esports, the fourth game was Rebels Gaming vs Team Queso and the last game was Falcons vs KPI Gaming. The detailed match recap is mentioned below –
1. Ramboot Club vs AYM Esports
The game began on the Ascent map, where Ramboot picked Fade, KAY/O, Omen, Jett and Killjoy. AYM Esports picked Omen, Jett, KAY/O, Sova and Killjoy. The first-half score remained 7-5 and later in the second half with a 6-3 finish, Ramboot Club won by 13-8 and shed was the match MVP.
2. Movistar Riders vs UCAM Esports Club
The game began on Haven map and the agents picked by Movistar Riders were Breach, Omen, Fade, Jett and Killjoy. UCAM Esports Club picked Jett, Breach, Killjoy, Sova and Astra. Both teams made it 6-6 in the first half but a 5-7 finish in the second led UCAM Esports Club to claim the match by 11-13.
3. ZETA vs Case Esports
It was played on the Haven map and Zeta picked Omen, Breach, Killjoy, Jett and Sova. Case Esports picked Omen, Killjoy, Raze, Fade and Breach. Case Esports dominated the game in the first half with a 1-11 score. A 2-2 finish in the second half was enough for Case Esports to win the game by 3-13.
4. Rebels Gaming vs Team Queso
Both teams headed for Fracture map, Rebels Gaming picked Sage, Astra, Neon, Breach and Raze. Team Queso picked Raze, Sage, Brimstone, Killjoy and Breach. First half score remained 6-6 and Team Queso later made it 3-7 in the second half and won the game by 9-13.
5. Falcons vs KPI Gaming
It was played on Bind map. Falcons picked Brimstone, Viper, Raze, Reyna and Skye, KPI Gaming picked Chamber, Sage, Skye, Raze and Brimstone. KPI Gaming didn’t let the Falcons get even a single round as they concluded the game with a score of 0-13.
