VCT Ascension is scheduled to start in June 2023, a qualification tournament for three teams from each region who will get promoted to the 2024 International League season in their respective region. The winning teams of VCT Ascension from each region will receive similar benefits as the teams playing the Leagues, and they will also receive the opportunity to qualify for the Masters and Champions tournament of the VCT 2024 season.
VCT Ascension will start immediately after the conclusion of the VCT Masters tournament, where the qualifying teams from VCT Pacific, VCT EMEA, and VCT Americas will compete in their individual VCT Ascension tournament. The Ascension tournament is scheduled to start on June 28, 2023, and end on July 16, 2023.
Roadmap for VCT 2023 Summer Tournaments
The roadmap for VCT Summer 2023 started with the International League Playoffs, which started on May 19, 2023, and will end on May 28, 2023. Following this, the VCT Masters Tokyo will start on June 11, 2023, and conclude on June 25, 2023, out of which the best teams from the Pacific, EMEA, and Americas will participate in their individual VCT Ascension tournaments.

VCT Ascension Pacific will start on June 28, 2023, in Bangkok, Thailand. The detailed format for VCT Ascension Pacific is mentioned below:
- Group Stage Match: June 28, 2023, to July 4, 2023.
- Playoffs Match: July 7, 2023, to July 9, 2023.
Ten participating teams are equally divided into two groups. Group matches will be played in Single Round Robin format featuring a Best-of-Three match format. The top three teams from each group will advance into the Playoffs. Single Elimination Playoff bracket format match featuring Best-of-Three matches in early rounds. The Best-of-Five match format will be played in the Grand Final.
VCT Ascension EMEA Schedule and Format

6 teams will feature in Ascension, in which 2 teams will be from the Challenger Leagues of Brazil and North America, 1 team from LATAM North, and 1 team from LATAM South. Double Elimination Playoff bracket in the Best-of-Three match format in Playoffs. The Best-of-Five match format will be played in the Grand Final.
