Global Esports vs DRX on Day 3 Week 2 of VCT Pacific League 2023
Day 3 Week 2 of VCT Pacific League 2023 concluded the second week of the League Stages with a thrilling match between Global Esports and DRX. Both teams were playing against each other for the first time in the tournament. DRX registered their second consecutive win and led the Table; whereas, Global Esports registered their second consecutive loss sliding to seventh position. The match was played on Haven and Split Map in which both the teams gave tough gameplay against each other. A detailed overview of the match is given below.

Match Analysis
Game 1: Haven Map
The first game of the match started on the Haven Map and lasted for 1 hour 11 minutes and 31 seconds. The first half of the match started with a neck-to-neck battle between Global Esports and DRX. Global Esports started with a 2-round win; however, a straight 4-round win by DRX from rounds 3-6 changed the course of the first half. DRX won the first half with a score of 5-7. The second half of the game once again started with an intense fight between DRX and Global Esports in which both the teams ended the second half with a score of 6-6. The first game concluded with a win for DRX with a score of 11-13. Monyet and t3xture with 19 kills and WRONSKI with 18 kills were the star performers for Global Esports. On the other hand, Foxy9 with 30 kills is the star performer for DRX.
Game 2: Split Map
The second game of the match started on Split Map and lasted for 1 hour 23 minutes 20 seconds. In the first half of the game both the teams gave a tough fight against each other, concluding the first half with a score of 6-6. During the second half of the game, once again both teams played ferociously and finished the second half of the game with a score of 6-6. However, in the third half of the game, DRX took the lead against Global Esports with a score of 3-5 and concluded the third half with a score of 15-17. Monyet with 39 kills led the way for Global Esports; whereas, MaKo with 31 kills led the way for DRX.
In Conclusion
Fans and audiences witnessed a suspenseful match between Global Esports and DRX, in which DRX maintained its temperament by defeating Global Esports with a score of 2-0. Week 3 of the tournament is going to start on 8th April, in which Rex Regum Qeon will face DetonatioN FocusMe from 2;30 pm and T1 will face Paper Rex from 5:30 pm.
