Pre-Match Analysis of Global Esports vs ZETA DIVISION
Team Analysis of Global Esports
Global Esports faced some challenges in the tournament because they were unable to consistently position their starting five players. The team initially faced visa issues with their star player Ganesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar, and backup player, Abhirup “Lightningfast” Choudhury, which is now resolved. However, the team has decided to rest them for the upcoming match against ZETA DIVISION. This decision is taken because the team has got limited time to practice together, and it could also disrupt the momentum buildup by the team. The team displayed exceptional gameplay during their previous match against DRX, where they came very close to winning both Haven map (11-13), and Split map (15-17).
Team Analysis of ZETA DIVISION
ZETA DIVISION started its journey with a loss against DRX on the Ascent map (5-13) and Pearl map (5-13). However, the team managed to win its second match against Rex Regum Qeon after intense gameplay on the Haven map (10-13), Ascent map (13-10), and Lotus map (13-5). One of the major concerns related to the team’s performance is related to the consistency it delivers through its performance. ZETA DIVISION’s recent performance is not impressive as it has lost the opening VCT Pacific League match and VCT LOCK//IN match against Leviatan.
In Conclusion
Global Esports is still looking to establish its complete roster for the tournament. The team even though lost its previous match, displayed promising gameplay against DRX. On the other hand, ZETA DIVISION appeared rather unsteady in their last match, despite winning the match. Therefore, it can be clearly expected that defeating Global Esports will be a challenging task for ZETA DIVISION. Whereas, the intense gameplay displayed by Global Esports in its last match seems promising to challenge ZETA DIVISION and even defeat them to register the first win for the team in this tournament.
