Version1 is revamping their Valorant division
Former Cloud9 White IGL meL and her partner alexis are the cornerstones of Version1’s ambitious women’s team, VersionX, forming the centerpiece of the team’s revamped Valorant division. The forthcoming North American Challengers open qualifications will mark the team’s debut.
“Sarah” was the organization’s initial signee. The Canadian had previously competed for the Immortals team, on which she had both advanced to the playoffs of the Knights Arena Sakura Cup and won the tournament. The 16year old Canadian star “florescent”, who previously competed for Misfits Black and claimed the Knights Arena Sakura Cup and Super Girl Gamer Pro – Summer 2022: Championships, as well as finishing third in the VCT 2022: Game Changers North America Series 3, joined Version1 alongside her. “Noia” was the third new member of the group. The 18year old star-player competed with XSET Purple during the previous season, and the two of them finished third at the Super Girl Gaming Pro – Summer 2022: Championships.
Team roster

NA Valorant challengers spot
Version1 had previously participated in women’s events and the Game Changers circuit, of which it has only once achieved the main stage of a VCT event in its career on the Game Changers circuit.
Two of the most seasoned female players in North America are meL and alexis, who have won numerous local championships and competed at the 2022 VCT Game Changers Cup, where Cloud9 White took fourth place. The two seasoned players, who failed to qualify for the VCT partnership program, would then try to guide the revamped VersionX lineup into a new era for the club.
For a chance to compete for two seats in Challengers Spot, where elevation to the VCT Americas league is on the line, the teams that pass will join the teams that have already been invited to the league.
