Patrick Price aka Aches
Patrick Price, popularly known as ACHES is a professional Cod player born on July 18, 1994, in the United States. Price is one of just nine players to already have won two or more Call of Duty Championships. He won the Call of Duty Championship in 2014 with CompLexity Gaming and also the Call of Duty Championship in 2018 with Evil Geniuses.
Career
He started competing at important events in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. His first significant team was where he first collaborated with bandmate TeePee. Their alliance would be for their first significant competition, the MLG Online National Championship, along with Fatalize and Carnage. Price was barred from attending four Call of Duty Pro League games beginning on August 6 and from taking part in the MLG 2K Tournament due to “continued harassment” at MLG events.
Aches, TeePee, and FEARS decided to join compLexity. Following the winning streak, the team ended Black Ops 2 with, Aches having more winning aspirations going into Call of Duty: Ghosts. Aches and the rest of the crew went to the first event, the MLG Fall Championship, a few weeks after the game was released. The team did well in the 2K and 5K online competitions, but it was questioned whether Aches could equal the dynastic results of his previous Evil Geniuses/Complexity squads with this new roster. JKap allowed Aches to join his longtime teammate TeePee and Advanced AW breakout star Slasher on the honourable Team EnVyUs. Aches played for a few other clubs after this tournament and during the rest of the AW season, but he never finished higher than fifth in any of the competitions.
Price made a public announcement about leaving the Call of Duty competition on January 27, 2022. He announced his retirement along with joining two Call of Duty League-based series, The Flank and Dexerto’s Reverse Sweep, as well as working with a team on a fresh AAA video game. Price declared on March 2, 2022, that he had joined the Ubisoft San Francisco Studio to work on the upcoming game XDefiant for the publisher.
