Apex Legends: Ballistic could be the next legend
According to a new Apex Legends leak, Ballistic, also known as Caliber, could be the game’s next legend. According to speculation, the new character is the son of Kuben Blisk, the main antagonist of the Titanfall series who previously appeared in Apex Legends. Apex Legends Season 16 added several new features to the game, including a brand-new assault rifle, a variety of skins, music packs, and more. However, no new legends were added in the update, which was unusual for Apex Legends. Despite this, Apex Legends set a new player record on Steam shortly after the release of its 16th season. The new legend may be related to Kuben Blisk
Ballistic, also known by the codename Caliber, could be the next legend introduced in Apex Legends Season 17. According to Bobz’s (a date miner) latest video, who carefully studied a new leak, several audio files from Mirage, Gibraltar, and others indicate the existence of this new character. The name Ballistic is mentioned in the audio, which can be heard in the video, during a conversation between the characters. Gibraltar, for example, appears to recognize the name and confirms that it brings back memories from his Thunderdrome days, implying a link between the characters.
Kuben Blisk, a Titanfall character who also appeared as a Syndicate mercenary in Apex Legends and currently holds the title of Ballistic, may be related to the new legend. He competed in the Thunderdrome, and some of the audio suggests that his son may be assuming his mantle. When discussing the upcoming legend, Mirage mentions how difficult it may be for the character to be “competing with his father’s legacy” in one of the leaked audios.
Conclusion
As the new season approaches, Respawn Entertainment’s franchise has grown so popular that it is already thinking about the long game. Respawn recently discussed the franchise’s future, stating that it had plans for 10 to 15 years of content, keeping the battle royale alive for the foreseeable future. However, the Apex Legends community’s reaction was mixed. While some were excited about the promise of long-term support, others were dissatisfied with the game’s current issues, such as its matchmaking system and latency issues.
