Mirage
Overview:
After Global Offensive was released, Valve made the decision to recreate Mirage and incorporate it as an official bomb-defusing map. Like with all official maps, Valve upgraded the graphics and made gameplay changes to improve competitive play. As an illustration, the earliest versions of Mirage had textures similar to Italy but later were eventually altered to represent a Moroccan aesthetic. Well, the map was added on June 6, 2013, and till then the map has been one of the most highly-played maps of all time.
What does the map offer?
The Mirage map offers a variety of interesting strategies as well as several opportunities for teamwork. The A-Side offers a few terrorist entry points and various opportunities for counter-terrorists to hide and wait for opponents. The B-Side battles are thrilling and unpredictable. On CSGO Mirage, players can learn an impressive array of skills.
Inferno
Overview:
Inferno is a beautiful and pleasant map offering an interesting town with elegant buildings. Opportunities for battles arise quickly, and the setting for shootouts in Inferno is really great. A and B Sides are swiftly taken over by counter-terrorists, and there is a decent probability of defending these locations. However, terrorists can exploit the Rush B scenario to kill opponents through Banana (a spot in Inferno) or deceive them by using an apartment with an arch side to place on A. Inferno is a fantastic CSGO map and it is fun to learn and constantly difficult to play on.
What does the map highlight?
Inferno was officially redesigned and updated on October 13, 2016. Although the fundamental design hasn’t altered much, the updated version has wider pathways and much better visibility and brightness. A few barrels stand in for the car on upper Banana. Now, there are stairs beneath the hay stacks in Window Room. The window room’s windows on either side have larger, clearer windows.
Overpass
Overview:
Cobblestone and Overpass were both introduced in 2013. The map is special because it is the only CSGO competitive map that was not released before Global Offensive. The map’s uniqueness continues with the Counter-Terrorist’s spawn location being inside an A-bombsite resulting in fast and effective rotations. The terrorists must capture a number of areas on the map before they can actually push the A-bombsite, Overpass is a bit CT-sided.
What does the map offer?
The A-bombsite and the toilet area were the principal locations of the Overpass maps that were changed. One of the biggest problems for Valve to solve was how to make the A-bombsite both intriguing and balanced. The map is highly popular and is played in both strategic and tricky ways.
The above-mentioned maps have their own attributes and specifications, each map is used for specific purposes and situations and has its own player base in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive community.
