Get ready for the all-new Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Ranked Play with several rewards and features
Activision has revealed its plan to release Ranked Play, as a new competitive mode of gameplay for Call of Duty: Warzone 2 because of its immense popularity and several demands from fans and players. Ranked Play is a kind of game mode that enables players to compete against each other. Call of Duty: Warzone 2 will be released on the 10th of May 2023 which is going to bring several other features along with Ranked Play such as the Third Raid Episode, Alboran Hatchery Core Multiplayer map, revamped experience for DMZ, and two new sidearms and one lethal gun. However, the Ranked Play being a beta version promises to deliver several rewards to its players.
Know what is there in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Ranked Play
Activision has confirmed the release of the beta version of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Ranked Play on the 10th of May with the release of Season 3 Reloaded. However, the Ranked Play will remain in beta version for the moment and its full version will be revealed in future seasons of the game.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Ranked Play Rules
The Ranked Play will be available to its players from Level 45 with several rulesets which are given below.
- Trios Party Size
- AL Mazrah Map
- Battle Royale Game Mode
- Restricted Public Events such as no Fire sales
- Restrictions of Vehicles such as no Heavy Choppers
- Gameplay elements such as no changes to the redeploy mechanics and no multi-circles are restricted
- Adjustments to Buy Station Inventory
- No throwing rocks at individuals in the Gulag
Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Ranked Play will have a similar ranking system which is available in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Ranked SR (Skill Rating) System
At the start of the Call of Duty Season 3 Reloaded the players need to start from the Bronze I and there are seven standard Skill Divisions. However, the first Ranked Play of this mid-season will be shorter in duration as compared to other seasons. The SR earned by players based on their performance is given below.

- Kills
- Kills by your squad
The SR received for kills, assists, and squad kills increases according to how many squads are left.
- 21+ Squads Remaining + 5 SR per Assist/ Elimination + 2 SR per Squadmate Elimination
- 3-20 Squads Remaining + 15 SR per Assist/ Elimination + 7 SR per Squadmate Elimination

- No Deployment Fee – Bronze 1-2
- 10 SR – Silver 1
- 14 SR – Silver 2
- 18 SR – Silver 3
- 23 SR – Gold 1
- 28 SR – Gold 2
- 33 SR – Gold 3
- 39 SR – Platinum 1
- 45 SR – Platinum 2
- 51 SR – Platinum 3
- 58 SR – Diamond 1
- 65 SR – Diamond 2
- 72 SR – Diamond 3
- 80 SR – Crimson 1
- 90 SR – Crimson 2
- 100 SR – Crimson 3
- 110 SR – Iridescent
- 110 SR + 10 SR for the Top 250, and for every 500 SR above 10,000, 210 SR Deployment Fee
There is a twist with the ranking system as with the end of every Season, players will be again moved to the lowest Tier one Division below where they have concluded Season 3. For example, a player who has finished Season 3 in Gold 3 will have to start Season 4 all again from Silver 1. Furthermore, any player in Crimson, Iridescent, or Top 250 will have to start Season 4 from the Diamond 1 level.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Ranked Play rank system
Players can progress their Rank by earning stars and the rank system is separate from Division. Players can earn up to three stars per match.
- 1 Star for the Top 25
- 2 Stars for the Top 10
- 3 Stars for the 1st place

- Vehicle Skin for Rank 5
- Ranked Play Win Tracker Gunscreen for Rank 30
- Ranked Veteran Operator Skin for Rank 50
- Unique rank rewards for each season by completing Placement and Eliminations challenges
During the start of Season 4, end-of-season divisional awards will be given to the players. However, among the placement prizes, there will be a Weapon Charm and a Pro Issue Weapon Blueprint based on the popular weapon choice made by the community in Season 3.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Ranked Play is filled with tonnes of rewards for its players which is further going to intensify the gameplay with more players engagement. However, players need to keep in mind that they will have to start at a lower level in Season 4 based on their position in Season 3 rank.
