League of Legends Patch 13.9: Major Changes and Nerfs Incoming
League of Legends players can expect a plethora of changes in the upcoming Patch 13.9, as announced by Riot Games in a recent tweet. The developer promises “major changes” for several champions, including Kayle and Neeko, as well as smaller nerfs for Sion, Jinx, Bel’Veth, and Taliyah.
Changes to Sion, Jinx, Bel’Veth, and Taliyah
Sion will see a slight increase in passive HP loss, while the duration of his passive will be reduced to account for the durability update and Heartsteel changes. Jinx’s AD growth per level will be slightly reduced, while Bel’Veth will have a small shift in her jungle clear, with an increase in monster damage with her Void Surge and a reduction in her AD growth. Taliyah’s ultimate ability’s cooldown lockout will now begin when she takes or dishes out damage, instead of just when she takes damage.
Sweeping changes to Kayle and Neeko
Kayle will receive a significant power boost, with an expansion of her ultimate ability’s radius, a reduction in its cast time, and the removal of auto-attack range limitations during its channeling. Neeko will receive a mid-scope update, featuring a new ability to transform into jungle plants and neutral monsters. Additionally, even if harmed, she won’t lose her disguise and won’t shift back unless under mob control or if the disguised version of herself would have perished.
With League of Legends Patch 13.9, Riot Games is set to make some major changes to several champions in League of Legends. These changes are aimed at balancing and improving the game’s mechanics, and will no doubt impact the game’s meta and professional scene. Players can expect these changes to go live on Wednesday, May 3, and it will be interesting to see how they affect gameplay. As the Mid-Season Invitational approaches, the timing of these changes is sure to add to the excitement of the tournament.
