Prevent Cancer Foundation gets over 2.6 million dollars from Awesome Games Done Quick 2023 thanks to donations
Games Done Quick (GDQ) recently organized the Awesome Games Done Quick 2023. This event went on from January 8 to January 15, 2023, and featured several speed runs from the best speed runners all over the world.
This week-long gaming speed run event is organized annually by Games Done Quick (GDQ). And, this year’s iteration concluded yesterday. In total, the event raised over 2.6 million dollars. All of this money goes to the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

This year’s iteration, namely, Awesome Games Done Quick 2023 got a total of $2,645,350.41 in total donations. This massive amount came from 39868 different donations, and the total number of donors was 21529.
The average and median donation amounts came out to be $66.35 and $25.00 respectively. The highest amount of donation, which amounted to $100,000 was donated by Games Done Quick themselves. All of this information is openly available at the Awesome Games Done Quick official tracker.
This amount is less when compared to the total amount of money raised from Awesome Games Done Quick 2022, which stood at 3.4 million, but is still a massive amount nonetheless.
