What Is Fan Made Mod?
We all are aware of the fan-made mods. Fans create their mods using the game’s modding tools. These mods can range from simple texture replacements to more complex additions such as new weapons, quests, and characters. This time we have witnessed Shrek in Fallout 4.
More on the fan edit
Recently you might have come across the creations of ‘eli handle b.wav’. They are famous for their horrifyingly life-like mashups of well-known video games and films, most recently putting Kermit the frog in Half-life 2. They also created an incredible Detroit: Become Human and Naked Gun mashup.
They’re back once more, and this time Shrek is fighting the Commonwealth in a fantastic Fallout 4 edit. If you’re unfamiliar with the idea, the video expertly combines clips of our beloved green monster from many Shrek movies with chats with certain Fallout 4 characters. For instance, there’s a terrific scene where Shrek uses a champagne bottle to blow up the Brotherhood of Steel and the Prydwen.
The scenes with Shrek look real or natural because the game already has giant green mutants. Also, the game is moddable and has been adapted in different ways before like anime and musicals. In Fallout, there are creatures known as trolls that are similar in appearance to the character Shrek, an ogre. Also, there is a mod available for the game that allows players to wear Shrek’s head as a piece of armour. However, the game has not featured Shrek as a character yet.
Their youtube channel is full of exciting edits which include
- The mask in Witcher 3
- Tony Soprano in God of war
- Garfield in Fallout 4
- Home alone in the resident evil village
- Beverly hills cop in Cyberpunk 2077
- Ace Ventura in Cyberpunk 2077
- Joe Biden in Fallout 4
- Clint Eastwood in Red dead redemption 2 etc.
Fallout fans had once spoken about how fun it would be to see Shrek as a super-mutant in their Reddit account in 2015. Though we do not know where the idea for this edit came from, we are sure that fans are enjoying it.
The fan edit has been loved by the audience. The audience feels that Shrek does not look out of place at all and the dialogues fit very well with the scenes. They are appreciating the creator for such an idea and think that it would be interesting if Shrek becomes a part of Fallout 4.
