Team Aster has got a new coach and a new mid-player. This new and updated roster will be playing in the next DPC
Team Aster has announced that it now has a new coach. This new coach is Bai “rOtK” Fan and will be replacing Zhang “LaNm” Zhicheng. They also have a new solo middle player, Zhai “一” Jingkai, also known as Xwy, and he will be replacing their former, and retired player Zeng “Ori” Jiaoyang.
Team Aster revealed recently that it will be making changes to its roster that will hopefully make it a stronger, and more capable team for the next Dota Pro Circuit season, DPC 2022-203. First, their mid-player, Zeng “Ori” Jiaoyang, retired on November 8. And, now they have announced the two new members of its roster.
With the joining of rOtK and Xwy, this is what their current lineup looks like:
Du “Monet” Peng
Zhai “Xwy” Jingkai
Lin “Xxs” Jing
Ye “BoBoKa” Zhibiao
Yu “皮球” Yajun
Bai “rOtK” Fan (Coach)
As of now, these seem to be the final changes that we will be seeing in Team Aster. This new roster will be playing for the next DPC season. It is to be seen how the overall synergy and performance of this new roster play out, but, for that, we would have to wait a while as there are no upcoming matches scheduled to happen soon.
Team Aster was one the participating teams in this year’s The International, The International 11 or TI11. The International 11 concluded not too long back. Some time back, Team Aster announced that its roster will be going through changes, ahead of the next Dota Pro Circuit, DPC 2022-2023.
Team Aster played quite well and made it to the Round 5 of the Lower Bracket. If they won just two more games, they would have played in the Grand Finals. However, they lost against Team Liquid and were eliminated from the event.
