Developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment, Hearthstone is an absolute masterpiece of work, insanely fun and deceptively simple. Hearthstone is a fast-paced strategy card game and has entertained fans in all aspects. The game is simple, it is a free-to-play online digital collectable card game originally subtitled Heroes of Warcraft. The game builds upon the existing lore of the Warcraft series by using the same characters, elements, and relics. Released on the 11th of March 2014 for Windows and macOS, on the 16th of April 2014 for iOS and on the 15th of December 2014 for Android. Well, this fast-paced strategy card game is designed for both multiplayer and single-player modes as well.
Hearthstone is a digital-only, turn-based collectable card game, that puts two opponents against one another and is set within the Warcraft universe. One of the ten classes of heroes is selected by the players. Hero powers, which are exclusive cards and abilities shared by all classes, aid in defining class archetypes. The object or the end goal of the game is to have the other player lose all of their health to zero by using a deck of cards from their own collection.
Well, there are five different sorts of card categories, it includes weapons, minions, hero cards, spells, and location. And a unique type of spell found only in three expansions is called a quest. The rarity of these cards is ordered from most common to least common, with Legendary cards being the rarest, after that Epic, Rare, Common and the last one- Basic.
To give more variety to the metagame, Blizzard releases expansions of additional cards as well as smaller mini-sets in between expansions every four months.
In addition, the game- Hearthstone has received generally favourable reviews from critics and has won the “British Academy Games Awards for multiplayer” and “The Game Award for Best Mobile/Handheld Game”.
