Gauging the massive demand from fans, RIOT Games launched the Public Beta Environment on July 9, 2022. The server allows selected participants to play all Valorant beta maps and characters. If you are a fan of the shooting game or a streamer, then joining the PBE is a must, as one can experience the upcoming content and gameplay changes before they make it to the official public servers.

How To Play All Valorant Beta Maps And Characters Explained
The Public Beta Environment (PBE) is a program by RIOT Games that allows players to play maps and characters that are yet to be released in Valorant or won’t be released at all. Players can test these features on a unique PBE server and give their feedback. They can also report any bugs and glitches.
Those who are interested in joining the beta community must first apply to join the Valorant PBE server (https://playvalorant.com/en-us/pbe). Sign In with your RIOT account and download the PBE Client. However, one must note that the server won’t be available to them until they use the invitation code sent by RIOT Games in their email.
Moreover, there are certain requirements for joining the Public Beta Environment:-
- The player must have no ongoing bans or restrictions.
- The player must be from North America to ensure better server connectivity and faster responses from RIOT Games.
Once they fulfill these conditions, players have to wait for weeks or even months to get an invitation from RIOT Games to join the PBE server. Note that Guest accounts in the game won’t be able to join the Public Beta Environment; possessing a RIOT Games account is mandatory.

If a player hasn’t received the second email that confirms their selection for the PBE, they can check the status of their application by attempting to log into the server while it is online. Beta users can get a sneak peek of what is scheduled for the upcoming VALORANT Episode 8 Act 3.
