Kaiju No. 8 Episode 6: What To Expect
In Kaiju No. 8 Episode 6 we’ll probably see Kafka and the gang head into their first Kaiju battle. While Kafka is still a cadet and not technically a part of the Kaiju Subjugation Unit, he will still accompany them as a cadet for battlefield experience.
Kaiju No. 8 Episode 5: Recap
Kaiju No. 8 Episode 5 was all about the results of the JDF Entrance Exam. This was Kafka’s last chance to pass and despite him having the lowest stats and proficiencies, he was vouched for by Lieutenant Hoshina who’s the right hand of Mina Ashiro. His tenacity in battle, desire to help others, and knowledge of Kaiju biology and weaknesses earned him a pass as a trainee cadet.
Episode 5 of Kaiju No. 8 was all about his new life as a JDF cadet belonging to the 27th Corps alongside all his peers who took the exam alongside him. It let us get used to the training methods and the base used by the JDF and it let us get accustomed to some of the new friends of Kafka who will fight alongside him.
