Week 2 concludes of LEC Winter Split

The LEC Winter 2023 is organised by Riot Games. The competition is a part of the LEC’s 9th European League of Legends split. The top 10 teams are all seen in action and are engaged for the LEC championship title. The event is being held offline at LEC Studio in Berlin with a prize pool of €80,000. The tournament kicked off on 21st January and will go on till the 26th of February. The competition is divided into three stages: the Regular season, the Group Stage, and the Playoffs. Currently, the tournament concluded the Week 2 of the Regular Stage yesterday and it gave a total of 5 matches. Winners were Astralis, Team BDS, SK Gaming, Team Vitality and Team Heretics.

Astralis registered their first win

The Day 3 of the tournament was played out yesterday, 30th January. Like its previous days, a total of 5 matches were played and Astralis began the day with a win after being on a losing streak. The matches that were line-up are listed below –

  2. Team BDS vs MAD Lions
  3. SK Gaming vs KOI
  4. G2 Esports vs Team Vitality
  5. Fnatic vs Team Heretics

Match 1: Excel Esports vs Astralis

It was a game of 31 minutes and 23 seconds and Astralis registered their first win in this competition. Kobbe was the match MVP.

Match 2: Team BDS vs MAD Lions

Team BDS won the game after 39 minutes and 51 seconds, Adam was the match MVP.

Match 3: SK Gaming vs KOI

The game went on for around 29 minutes and 40 seconds, SK Gaming won the game and Exakick was the winner.

Match 4: G2 Esports vs Team Vitality

The game went on for around 36 minutes and 50 seconds with Vitality managing to secure the victory. Bo was the match MVP.

Match 5: Fnatic vs Team Heretics

The last game of Week two was played out, the game went on for 40 minutes and 40 seconds as neither team was backing off. Team Heretics won the game and Evi became the match MVP.

Team Vitality with a win-loss record of 5-1 remains on top followed by G2 Esports in 2nd position and MAD Lion in 3rd position. Astralis managed to climb up and secured 9th position.
