Two Indian Organisation Qualify for VCT 2023 Game Changers APAC Open 1
The top eight female Valorant organisation advanced to the main event of the VCT 2023: Game Changers APAC Open 1, which will take place from March 15 to 19, where they will face off against one another in a double-elimination format. Following a strong ‘5-1’ run on the Swiss stage, Indian organisations Orangutan Female and Global Esports Phoenix are among the organisation that have qualified for the main event.
On March 15th, Orangutan Female and Global Esports Phoenix will begin their respective playoff campaigns against BIG SCYTHE and Team SMG. Because neither of these organisation has lost a game thus far in the tournament, it will be a difficult challenge.

Global Esports has revealed the female roster for the VCT 2023 Game Changers.
The first tournament of the eight-month VCT Game Changers circuit, which runs from March to October and has a $75,000 USD prize pool overall, is underway. Only eight of the 70 teams that entered the first open tournament of the season from South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Oceania made it to the championship game.

This tournament’s first stage used a Swiss system, which kept things very interesting because teams qualified with various win-loss records. Team SMG became the only qualifying team without a single map loss, and despite losing on one map, Sapphire has also managed to maintain its perfect record. Both Indian organisation lost just one map: Orangutan Female fell to RRQ Kaguya, while Global Esports Phoenix fell to Capybara GanG.

The second stage, which will have a double-elimination bracket and run from March 15 to 19, will have a $10,000 USD prize pool up for grabs. Each of the top eight teams will receive a portion of the overall prize money and some points that will count toward their overall ranking. The performance of the Indian organizations going forward will be enjoyable to watch as the top female teams from the APAC region compete fiercely for supremacy.
