Poison Ivy is a strong female antagonist in the Arkham video game series.
Dr. Pamela Lillian, a botanist, transformed into a plant-human hybrid as a result of a failed experiment. Instead of blood, chlorophyll circulated through her veins, giving her a poisonous touch and a pheromone-fuelled aptitude for seduction.
She had increasingly abandoned her human side and identified more with the natural world; therefore, her crimes became more ecologically focused. Due to her unique kind of eco-terrorism, Batman regularly got himself into conflict with her.
Ivy had been sent to Arkham City after meeting the Dark Knight on Arkham Island. Ivy chose to keep humanity at a distance rather than take part in Arkham City’s gang battles after seeking safety in a stronghold covered in vines. She would not be noticed until Catwoman went looking for her. She started preparing a plan of annihilation for Gotham there.
Personality
Given the TITAN strain’s effects, Poison Ivy was a true psychopath. She had a restricted view of human life and frequently called people “fleshy meat-sacks.” Her ideal of destroying all human life in favour of plant life was regarded as a lunatic sort of perfectionism.
Ivy had a seductive allure with men for most of the series and frequently used her talents to dominate them. Poison Ivy was seen as the height of dominance, much like Catwoman, because of her ability to utilise mind control and even her own beauty to make men do things they didn’t want to.
Trivia
Following the events at Arkham Asylum, Poison Ivy was portrayed as being taken back to her own cell on a gurney. Ivy was not present, and the cell remained empty, as with the entire island, when the player made the decision to return to her cell following the ending cutscene. That was due to the fact that, as seen by the fireworks display, the game quickly reset to the period before the confrontation with Joker. Ivy is one of Batman’s most well-known and deadliest adversaries, but she only poses a direct threat to Batman in Arkham Asylum.
