Gamers thoroughly enjoyed the first Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC which was released in September 2023. Part 1 of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero takes place in the land of Kitami where players are tasked with unraveling the mystery of Ogerpon and his three loyal subordinates, namely Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti. Over the course of around five hours, players are able to understand the Kitami region and collect multiple new Paldean Pokémon.
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero: The Teal Mask was a relatively short yet interesting Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC. Players now await the second and last part of the downloadable content, i.e., The Indigo Disk, which can only be accessed after finishing the main campaign. Terapagos is the cover star for the DLC which will most likely feature Water-type Pokemon because the official Scarlet & Violet page mentioned that the Blueberry Academy will be underwater.
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero: The Indigo Disk has no official fixed release date. It is scheduled for release in winter in the Northern Hemisphere while in summer in the Southern Hemisphere. As such, the speculative timeframe for the release is December 2023 to March 2024. Fans believe that Nintendo is targeting the Christmas holidays for the Part 2 debut.
The Teal Mask DLC includes Paradox legendaries such as Paradox Raikou and Paradox Cobalion. The Paradox versions of Suicune and Entei are thus expected to feature in The Indigo Disk DLC.
All New Creatures in the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC
Following the release of Part 1 of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, a number of new entries were seen in the Pokedex of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. That is bound to increase with the release of Part 2.
According to a data leak by mattyou_khana on the messaging platform X, over 100 Pokémon will be returning the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC. It must be noted that only four of the listed Pokemon have already been officially revealed: Archaludon, Raging Bolt, Iron Crown, and Terapagos.
The supposed addition of Duraludon, Iron Leaves, Walking Wake, Rabsca, Alcermie, and Polteageist in the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC has sent the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet fans into a frenzy. They will massively impact the Tera Raids and PvP metas, similar to how the addition of Paldeans affected Pokémon GO.
Available on Nintendo Switch, each part of the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC will cost $34.99 USD. It can either be purchased in a bundle with either Scarlet or Violet for $94.99 USD. Both DLC content will collectively see over 200 Pokemon returning to Scarlet and Violet with the additions of Paradox entities.
