FUSION Pro Wireless and FUSION Pro 4 Wired are the next generation controllers for Xbox Series X/S, with a starting price of $69.99 / 79,99€ / £69.99. Both FUSION controllers have gotten massive upgrades over the previous iterations alongside some unique features. Find out more about the new offerings from the FUSION line as follows:
What Are The Key Features Of PowerA’s Next Generation FUSION Controllers For Xbox?
FUSION Pro Wireless controller is compatible with Xbox X/S, Xbox One, and PC (Windows 10/11) and comes with Lumectra. It features hidden RGB LEDs that upon activation display a fascinating design. The controller has six different lighting modes – Solid, Cycle, Breathing, Wave, Pulse Reactive, Ripple Reactive – alongside four customizable zones. In addition to that, players can use the PowerA Gamer HQ to further customize the RGB colors, audio, triggers, rumble, and more
Apart from the design and customization, the first-ever wireless controller in the FUSION line offers low-latency connectivity. Allowing players to enjoy interruption-free gaming, FUSION Pro Wireless can provide up to 30 hours of gameplay on a single charge. At the same time, the magnetic charger and detachable 10 ft. USB-C cable also comes in handy. Along with the controller, PowerA has included a display stand, which is convenient for charging and storage.
PowerA has also worked well on the build and outer design of its FUSION Pro Wireless controller. It includes four mappable Advanced Gaming Buttons, 3-Way Trigger Locks, and patent-pending Quick-Twist Thumbsticks, which makes the adjustments more comfortable. Quick-Twist Thumbsticks lets players change to three different height adjustments. The 3-Way Trigger Locks lets players set the travel distance for the triggers, catering to different gameplay requirements, be it FPS or racing.
Additionally, the Dual rumble motors and impulse allow players to experience ‘life-like tactile feedback.’ The new FUSION controllers also feature a 3.5mm stereo jack, which delivers clear, dynamic audio and has a built-in volume control. The Hall Effect thumbsticks & triggers, an ergonomic design, textured rubberized grips, and embedded anti-friction rings are among the other key features of FUSION Pro Wireless, which make the controller quite impressive.
On the other hand, FUSION Pro 4 Wired controller for Xbox X/S series offers a similar build and outer design, making the gaming fatigue-free and comfortable. Unlike the wireless variant, FUSION Pro 4 doesn’t have hidden RGB LEDs or a detachable 10 ft. USB-C cable. Instead, it has a 10 foot braided USB-C, which is quite reliable. In comparison to FUSION Pro Wireless’ price of 169,99€ / £149.99 ($149.99), FUSION Pro 4 is available at 79,99€ / £69.99 ($69.99).
