Spy X Family Chapter 105 Recap
A dangerous alarm clock that Franky had made wakes him up in the morning, almost killing him in the process. After brushing his teeth and getting ready, he builds another machine called ‘Senju’ which can boost his productivity. However, the invention explodes, covering his face in soot. After looking at the time, Franky hurries to his tobacco shop where he attends to customers. He gets a call from Loid, who wants him to babysit Anya. Despite not wanting to do it, Franky looks after the little girl while her parents are away because Loid pays him good money.
After getting out of the Forger household, Franky loses all the money he made at the racetrack. He goes to the teller, who is also an informant, to ask about a certain route. But the man tells that Latchkey Lachy has been captured by the SSS, and until he is freed, nobody can access gates 4 and above. The teller gives Franky two movie tickets instead. While returning, he runs into a girl called Priscilla and asks her out on a movie date, to which she surprisingly agrees.
Before his date, Franky gets a call saying the racetrack teller has also been captured by the SSS due to his involvement with Lachy. Even though he refuses at first, Franky eventually saves the man using several genius inventions. After the daring escape, Franky realizes that he has missed the movie, but can still make it to dinner. However, Priscilla tells him that she took a colleague of hers to the movie and they have started dating. The teller offers to go see another movie with Franky, which turns out to be a romantic drama, making both of them awkward.
A short chapter numbered 105.1 came out on September 29, 2024. It focused on Anya and Becky, who go to see a romance movie with Yor and Martha. Even though everyone is engrossed in the romantic relationship between the two main leads, Anya really likes how protective the hero is and starts to copy him. When Becky says that she needs to be more girly, Anya answers that she likes being the protector.

For the last few updates, the manga has been focusing on individual central characters and showing us what a normal day in their lives looks like. If the same theme continues, we might get an update on Becky and Martha, or Henry in the next issue. However, as fans have been missing the intense drama and action, the series might get back to its normal pacing soon. Damian already knows about Anya’s mind-reading power, which could lead to some serious misunderstandings between the two.
