Current Scenario of LEC Spring 2023

LEC Spring 2023, organised by Riot Games, commenced on the 11th of March. The Regular season has now reached Week 2. Yesterday, Day 2 of the second-week fixtures were played out, with five matches. Team BDS started their campaign with a loss against SK Gaming. However, it gave them the motivation to carry forward. Team BDS now tops the LEC Spring 2023 League standings with a record of 4 wins and 1 loss, while Team Vitality is in second position. Recap of Week 2 Day 2 matches

As mentioned above, a total of five matches were played out. Fans at the LEC Studio in Berlin witnessed the teams taking the central stage. The Regular Season holds a single round-robin format with all matches of best-of-one series. The top 8 teams will head for the Group Stage once the Regular Season ends.


Results of the matches

·       Match 1: Team BDS vs Astralis

The game went on for 34 minutes and 26 seconds. Team BDS won the game with an outstanding performance from Adam.

·       Match 2: Excel Esports vs MAD Lions

Patrik of Excel Esports was brilliant as he led his team to a win after 35 minutes and 1 second of gameplay.

·       Match 3: Team Heretics vs Fnatic

It was a long game of 40 minutes and 38 seconds. Fnatic prevailed over Team Heretics with Hummanoid’s good strategic gameplay skills.

·       Match 4: SK Gaming vs KOI

KOI had a good hold of the game. The match went for around 36 minutes and 29 seconds, and with Larssen’s support, KOI won the game.

·       Match 5: G2 Esports vs Team Vitality

After 30 minutes and 58 seconds of gameplay, Yike led G2 Esports to a win.


In Conclusion

With this, the Day 2 of the second week ended. If we look at the standings, Team BDS leads with a 4-1 record after a 3-win streak. Team Vitality holds the 2nd position, followed by KOI in the 3rd position.
