Teenage Mercenary Chapter 216 Recap
Dr. Gardner’s face is beaten and bloody as a man pulls his hair and asks whether he knows how much his stunt caused them. Another man, who seems to be a higher-ranking official of the organization, enters the room. He says that Gardner’s actions resulted in them losing clients and a lot of money. He then tells the scientist that instead of killing him, they’ll make an example out of him, so nobody dares to betray them again. The scene moves to Ijin, who receives a call from Lieutenant Kang telling him about Dr. Gardner’s kidnapping.
Kang tells him that it’s probably Jake, the right-hand man of AIDA’s leader, behind the abduction. He also thinks AIDA wants to make an example out of him. Ijin calls Liam and asks him to locate Jake, and we learn that Jake wanted to recruit Liam and the others as mercenaries before. The scene moves to a nightclub in the city. Liam tracks the movements of Jake, who enters the club with his men. He tells Ijin about it and we see that the protagonist is already inside the building. Liam also enters the party as a waiter.
