VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: Pacific League: Overview
Pacific partner teams are gearing themselves up for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: Pacific League as it comes near. Riot Games is set to host the VCT 2023: Pacific League in Seoul, South Korea, featuring a prize pool of $250,000. The tournament will be an offline event at Sangam Colosseum, and the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final will take place at Jangchung Arena. The tournament will run for 2 months spanning from the 25th of March to the 28th of May. 10 Pacific-partner teams will compete in the tournament, with Global Esports as the only Indian organisation among the others. The top 3 teams will make it to the Masters Tokyo and Champions.
Know about the teams and the format
As stated above, VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: Pacific League consists of 10 teams across Asia-Pacific. Global Esports from South Asia, Talon Esports joins in from Thailand; Paper Rex joins in from Malaysia and Singapore, Rex Regum Qeon comes in from Indonesia, Team Secret from the Philippines, and Detonation FocusMe and ZETA Division are from Japan. The League stage format
The teams will play over a span of 8 weeks in a single round-robin format with the best of 3 games. Between the 25th of March and the 16th of May, the Regular season or the league stage will go live every Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
The Playoffs format
After the Regular Season, the top 6 teams will make their way to the Playoffs. The Playoffs will run from the 19th of May to the 28th of May. Teams will be drawn in the double-elimination bracket. The Lower Bracket Final and the Grand Final will only consist of a Best of 5 game series while other games will be Best of 3.
About the Last Chance Qualifiers
This is ongoing; the remaining 7 teams from this league will head for Last Chance Qualifiers (LCQ) in July. The LCQ will pave the way for the teams to make their way to the Champions.
Broadcasting of the tournament
The VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: Pacific League will be officially streamed in different languages across English, Korean, Indonesian, Japanese and Thai. These broadcasts will take place on the official YouTube and Twitch channels of Valorant Esports.
