Global Esports defeated Talon Esports to register its first win of the tournament
In an intense battle between Global Esports and Talon Esports, Global Esports registered its first win of the tournament by defeating Talon Esports by 2-0. The two-round match between the teams was played on the Split and Icebox Map. Global Esports with one win and three losses is placed in the eighth position; whereas, Talon Esports is in the last position with consecutive four losses. Game 1: Split Map
The first game of the match started on Split Map and lasted for 58 minutes and 56 seconds. Global Esports started dominating the game right from the first half. The team registered back-to-back round wins against Talon Esports to finish with a score of 3-9. During the second half of the game, Talon Esports tried to fight back, but Global Esports retained its momentum by finishing the second half of the game with a score of 3-4. On the other hand, Talon Esports registered straight 5-round wins from rounds 5-9. The first half of the game finished with an equal score of 6-6. Once again, the second half of the game started with a strong fight between Global Esports and Talon Esports. However, Global Esports maintained its temperament by getting a lead over Talon Esports to conclude the second half of the game by 5-7.
