Creepy Game Characters That You Can Dress Up As This Halloween
The horror genre in video games has introduced several memorable villainous characters. Their twisted sense of justice or perspective on the world has been intriguing for players. To top it off, the creepy game characters mentioned in this guide have appearances that are bound to give chills to the observers:-
Victor Zsasz
A character from DC Comics, Victor Zsasz is a personification of evil whose maniacal laughs might be etched in the minds of Batman: Arkham City players. He kills individuals to increase his ‘score’ and believes that he is saving his victims from their pointless lives. Even more twisted is the fact that he has a mark on his body that represents the number of victims, having saved a special spot for Batman. A padlock on the neck, shackles, several marks on the body and you’re ready as one of Arkham’s most notorious escaped prisoners.
Freddy Krueger
Created by Wes Kraven, Freddy Krueger is the popular antagonist from the film A Nightmare on Elm Street. He is the spirit who murders people in their dreams with his bladed right-hand glove. Among the most creepy game characters, Krueger appears in the NES game A Nightmare on Elm Street and in the survival horror, Dead by Daylight. His characteristic outfit includes a disfigured face, due to being burnt, a brown fedora, a red-and-green striped sweater, black or brown trousers, and the iconic right-hand glove with no blade on the thumb.
Pyramid Head
Silent Hill 2 Remake features the Pyramid Head at its horrific best. It is the physical manifestation of punishment, arising from the guilt and anger of the protagonist, James Sunderland. The monster resembles a pale muscular man wearing the blood-soaked garb of a butcher. It either wields a spear or a large knife and uses them for brutal murders. However, Pyramid Head’s characteristic feature is its red triangular helmet that resembles a medieval executioner’s mask.
Jason Voorhees
Jason Voorhees is a fictional serial killer who has appeared in Dead by Daylight and MultiVersus. Originating from the Friday the 13th film, he murders people who arrive in Camp Crystal Lake and the surrounding area to avenge the death of his mother. Jason’s hockey mask, olive green shirt, and signature machete create an unmistakable look that will be etched in the memory of onlookers. However, despite being one of the creepy game characters, the persona has been overused in Halloween.
The Crones
To bewitch spectators with your attention to detail, dress up as either Brewess, Weavess, or Whispess. The Crones of Crookback Bog are some of the most powerful characters in the entire Witcher series and their attire is said to represent the way they were killed in their past lives. Whispess was seemingly burned and wears a red cloth that hides her disfigured face. Brewess was hanged, as hinted by the lock on her neck, and Weavess was drowned as indicated by her infected eye.
The attire of the Crones incorporates natural elements such as moss and leaves. Moreover, they have withered shawls or cloaks that highlight that they are as old as the region of Velen. Most interestingly, they have something attached to their waists, either animal hides or infant limbs, giving them a grotesque and appalling appearance.
