July 2023 is here, and developers are rolling out the PUBG Mobile 2.7 update while phasing out version 2.6. Tencent Games and Krafton have already confirmed PUBG Mobile’s upcoming collaboration with the iconic anime and manga series Dragon Ball Super, which will also bring a variety of special-edition collectibles alongside other themed content.

PUBG Mobile 2.7 Update: Release Date, Time, and Schedule
Developers follow a specific rollout schedule for PUBG Mobile as a new version releases after every two-month cycle. Version 2.6 was rolled out between May 16 and 18 across all the servers, and PUBG Mobile 2.7 update is expected to release on July 13 on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
For the Android release, the rollout has already commenced as of July 11, and everyone will get access to the update button in application stores by July 13. Similarly, the official download links on PUBG Mobile’s website will also get updated by July 13.

Over the past few days, PUBG Mobile’s social media handles have posted promos around the upcoming content. Developers have unveiled PUBG Mobile x Dragon Ball Super as a key highlight of the upcoming patch update.
As of this writing, Krafton has confirmed the arrival of characters like Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, Piccolo, and Ultimate Gohan to the game as a part of the Dragon Ball Super collab. It is expected to go online in the game on July 13, 2023, while a special stand-alone themed mode will release on July 15.
As a part of PUBG Mobile x Dragon Ball Super, players will experience themed skills, exclusive items, particular in-game areas, special gameplay items, and more. At the same time, developers have also teased the arrival of a brand-new assault rifle, ACE32 from PUBG: Battlegrounds, in version 2.7.
There are other additional features like “carrying someone onto the vehicle,” “new firearm attributes,” “fold & jump feature for 2-seater bikes,” and many more. Players can download PUBG Mobile 2.7 update on July 13 to enjoy all new content and improvements in the game.
