Over the years, the Valorant community has opted to use certain weapons because of their effectiveness in battle after the changes in the meta. While some of these popular guns can be costly, others like the Sheriff Sidearm find worth because of both their damage and economicalness.
Pick Your Favorite – The Most Used Guns In Valorant
Listed below are the five most popular weapons in Valorant. However, the list is in no particular order.
Vandal Assault Rifle (2900 Credits)
A fan-favorite Assault Rifle, Vandal is the upgraded version of Phantom as it is guaranteed to eliminate an enemy with a single headshot and has no bullet falloff. The Assault Rifle deals 160 damage on the head, one-tapping full HP and armored enemies. Extended fire from Vandal leads to less stability so players need to gentle tap the left mouse button (2 taps in one second).
Nonetheless, if the enemy is up close, you can simply hold the trigger to spam. Valorant can hold 25 bullets in one magazine which is surprisingly enough to wipe out entire squads if you aim to headshot every opponent.
Sheriff Pistol (800 Credits)
The most expensive handgun in Valorant is worth buying. Sheriff deals over 150 headshot damage when the target is within 30m and almost 140 damage when it is over 30m. This makes it the ideal weapon during the early, economical game and a precious close-range option for sniper users. Moreover, Sheriff can be used in different modes to practice one-tapping enemies.
Judge Shotgun (1800 Credits)
Since it is a Shotgun, Judge can eliminate full HP and armored enemies with its pellet spread when they are at a distance of 10-15 meters. It has a higher rate of fire compared to Bucky and is extremely useful for wiping squads after a player sneaks into enemy territory. New players who are still getting accustomed to the recoil of Assault Rifles could equip Judge for better play.
Judge has a low magazine capacity. Holding just 5 pellets, players have to close the distance between themselves and their target by Shift-walking to get maximum damage from their shotgun bursts.
Operator Sniper Rifle (4700 Credits)
Given that it is the costliest weapon in Valorant, players need to be certain that they make a difference with the Operator. The high-damaging sniper rifle can eliminate enemies with a body shot but the time between two shots can become problematic, especially when enemies are close.
Operator is a favorite when compared to the cheaper Outlaw sniper. Not only does it have a higher damage but it also has a 2.5x scope and 5x scope that can be toggled. Moreover, it has a high bullet penetration which can be effective for wallbangs after the enemy’s position has been Reconed.

Odin Machine Gun (3200 Credits)
Odin is another popular weapon in Valorant. The Machine Gun increases its fire rate over time and its immense ammo capacity allows constant sprays. Players also get an increased chance wallbang kills due to its high penetration power. The only downside to using Odin is that the player’s movement is slowed and its high reload times can give enemies the whiff they need to eliminate you.
While Attacking in Valorant, Odin can be used to provide cover fire while your allies try to enter a Site. The rapid-fire quality of the Machine Gun pushes back enemies. While Defending, a group of Odin users can hold a Site and try to get wallbang kills whenever they hear the Attackers approaching.
