A team that knows its designated roles in PUBG has a better chance of securing a Chicken Dinner as compared to those who lack coordination. Every member of a squad must know their role so that they can act as a collective unit. In higher leagues, a player must be flexible enough to change their role when commanded by their leader and switch their playstyle accordingly.

The 5 Roles In PUBG & What They Demand From The Player
Listed below are all the roles in PUBG that one must be aware of:-
In Game Leader (IGL)
The IGL is the most important role in PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds. Being the leader comes with responsibilities like marshaling your teammates, signaling them to hold different positions, and coordinating their movements. A team leader is also open to listening to his teammates’ strategies but the final decision rests with him. He is also the one who calls whether to be aggressive or defensive depending on the situation.
Secondary In Game Leader (Secondary IGL/Co-Leader)
Most teams have a second leader, also known as a co-leader. It is the secondary IGL’s task to advise the leader although the final say lies with the latter. During some intense situations in PUBG, when the leader is unable to make a call or his plan isn’t working, the secondary IGL steps up and mobilizes his teammates.
Entry Fragger (Assaulter)
The most skilled member of a team should take the role of an Entry Fragger. He too has an important role in PUBG, seemingly more important than a leader’s, because the entry fragger is the one who leads the offensive. Rushing into action after devising a strategy, the assaulter must eliminate at least one enemy after which he can wait for his teammates to join the action and capitalize on the initiative.
Support (Healer)
As the name suggests, support players in PUBG help their teammates by providing counter-fire, hindering enemy vision with smoke grenades, and providing medical assistance. It is one of the most underrated roles in PUBG but crucial to a team’s success. You are most likely to find Fuel, Health Kits, and a variety of grenades in the Bag of an experienced Support player in PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds.
Scout
Scouts collect information on enemy locations or hideouts by hiding behind vehicles, objects, or trees. They have a risky role as when they are spotted by a team, they may not be able to retreat quickly on most occasions. Scout and Entry Fragger roles are mostly interchangeable because a Scout could surprise the enemy team with a few eliminations at the right time and wait for a fellow Assaulter teammate to join.
