Ever since the official announcement, fans have been eagerly waiting for new announcements around the Black Ops 6 Zombies. It seems like the wait is over as Activision and Treyarch have dropped a couple of teasers around the next Call of Duty iteration of Zombies mode. Developers have taken the same approach as Black Ops 6 teasers, as they unveiled an all-new website, “TheTruthDies.com,” which features some creepy clips around the BO6 Zombies.
New Black Ops 6 Zombies Teasers Feature Mister Peeks And Hint At The Alcatraz Return
On August 1, 2024, Call of Duty developers dropped the ‘Back from the dead’ teaser for Black Ops 6, which showcased some petrifying compilation of short clips and ended with an old TV showcasing “Project Janus” (from Black Ops Cold War) and “TheTruthDies.com.” On visiting the website, fans can spot an old Television-like interface.
For the unversed, the new website is the same as the original one, ‘TheTruthLies.com,’ which showcased the ‘mysterious’ Black Ops 6 clips in May 2024. The background of the fake TV hints at the exploration of Dark Aether narrative, which was also seen in Modern Warfare Zombies, which channels showcase some terrifying teasers.
At the moment, only the first two channels are showcasing clips, while the remaining four are off-air. The first channel named ‘LYER’ is the channel guide which transitions into a clip of a security personnel watching the CCTV footage of prisoners in their barracks. The clip also features minimal jumpscares that might not actually scare anyone.
The second channel is delivering a weather report, which transitions into what appears to be Alcatraz, a famous Call of Duty map based on a real-life prison. The clip doesn’t reveal much and features a nighttime setting with torrential weather. However, if players power off the TV, they should embrace themselves for another jumpscare of Mister Peeks.
Although most of the channels are off-air, readers can expect new footage in the coming days. Activision has already confirmed the return of round-based Zombies with Black Ops 6 launch. Players will get to see two new maps in Black Ops 6 Zombies at launch in October 2024. Besides that there are plenty of other announcements, which can happen soon.
