Age of Mythology is an incredibly popular real-time strategy game by Ensemble Studios that was first released in 2002. Rooted particularly in Greek mythology, the story features Atlantean admiral Arkantos trying to prevent Poseidon from destroying his homeland. He travels across three different mythologies, including Norse and Egyptian, while players get involved in the base-building gameplay.
In AoM, players are required to develop their civilization and select the Minor Gods that they want to worship after selecting a Major God. The 15 Major Gods in the Age of Mythology represent five different civilizations, namely Atlantean, Greek, Norse, Chinese, and Egyptian. Similar to Hades 2 Boons, the Gods provide perks such as increased resource gathering, discounts in researching, improved health of certain units, and so on.
All Major Gods have been categorized based on the effectiveness of their perks and provided units:-

The Most Powerful Gods For Worship In Age of Mythology
Fu Xi and Zeus are considered to be the best Major Gods in Age of Mythology. Supporting Greek civilization, Zeus offers the God Power called Bolt that inflicts heavy damage on the place where it is cast. The Olympian also gives a boost to the Favor, increasing the rate at which villagers generate the intangible resource from temples. Additionally, Hoplites get buffed.
Fu Xi is a God who favors Chinese civilization. He reduces the construction cost of buildings, units, and increases the Gathering rate for Food. Like the other Chinese Gods, worshipping Fu Xi means unlocking the Immortals Mythic unit.
