What does the Executive Producer of League of Legends say?
Riot Brightmoon, the Executive Producer of League of Legends, on behalf of the League Dev team, welcomed all the players to Season 2023 in a YouTube video. At first, he appreciated the players for the marks they have all made in League. He also shared updates on Ahri and Aurelion Sol, upcoming skin thematics, an update on Ranked, and also a glimpse of a few champions who will be released this year. But before that, let’s have a look at this year’s Preseason.
This year’s Preseason:
Chemtech Drake had a major glow-up in her new form. This time, the dev team has added a few more things to let your team play more effectively including the push, bait, and all-in. It won’t be a Preseason if no changes are introduced in the jungle. So now you can have a path recommender, an updated camp patience system, and new jungle companions. There are also changes like – a new rune recommender, in-game items, and a few changes to ARAM.
LoL, 2023 Season start - Ahri’s ASU:
After waiting for nearly a year, finally, Ahri’s ASU will be released. Her base, her skins, new VFX, splashes, and all the nine tails have been updated and you would get to see these in just a few weeks.
Skins and Thematics:
Champions who have not received new skin till now including Aurelion Sol, Ivern, Kled, and Kalista will receive new skin this year. Kalista’s skin will come to us from a world of beauty and magic, nature and majesty. Let’s now return to a fan favorite. The skin line that brought you Pug’Maw, Corki Corgi, and Yorick in a cat onesie is coming back.
Ranked:
Mid-Year Ranked Reset-
Ranked Splits will now separate the single Ranked Season into thirds to help players make progress. This year, the two Ranked Splits will have a full ranked reset along with rewards to match. The plans are different to let everyone play a fair and enjoyable game. This year, when Split 2 begins, it will not be a heavy reset like the one in January. There won’t be a second Preseason thus you can earn your rank to the same extent.
Rewards-
With each split, you can earn the full ranked rewards suite like icons and emotes, Ranked borders, and a Ranked skin. This highlights there will be two skins for Ranked this year. There will also be extra rewards for your climb. On top of that, the Gold rank requirement will be removed from Ranked skins. Thus, as now you can earn it at Silver or below, does not mean you will. So, good luck with your climbs!
Season 2023 Lol - Champions:
Aurelion Sol CGU-
In the last Lol Pls, some updated abilities fan the flames of his dragon fantasy. Not only can Aurelion Sol forge stars like a nebula in deep space, but now he can also drop them from the sky onto his enemies in Summoner’s Rift. There is a huge chance of his abilities to grow in size over the course of the game including his new ultimate.
Milio-
Milio is the male enchanter from Ixtal. Displaying an incredible understanding of the fire axiom at a young age, Milio uses fire to soothe wounds. On his way, he will face the biggest challenge of his young life: the Vidalion. His journey would broaden his horizons and introduce him to new people and places. Also, brings him closer to Yun Tal’s darkest secrets.
Naafiri-
She is a mid-lane assassin made for the ones who focus on the hunt. Her first work is to find out Darkin brethren. Her newfound body or bodies would be proved useful for locating her fellow Darkin and as a source of wisdom. But unfortunately, Naafiri is the only champion this year without a shirt.
Skarner VGU-
The Skarner VGU is engaged in scorpion fantasy. More information on his progress will be updated soon via the dev blog. There will also be a hangry jungler and an artistic midlaner looming in the distance.
Conclusion:
These are the small updates that have been shared till now. Also, later this year, you will be able to choose your language in League’s settings too. And those having Xbox Game Pass can link it to your Riot account. This way, you can unlock every champion for free and get a 20% experience boost if it’s active.
