After being delayed for ages, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl (stylized as S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl) is finally getting launched in September this year. The upcoming FPS survival horror is bringing back the horrors of the Zone from the original STALKER trilogy, which have been revealed in official trailers of the game. One of the trailers, titled “The Time of Opportunities,” unveiled during Xbox Games Showcase (June 2024), also teased the multiple enemies, anomalies, and mutants that will be a part of STALKER 2’s gameplay.

The two minute and 49 second-long ‘The Time of Opportunities’ trailer showcased the intriguing and somewhat breathtaking world of the Zone, which also featured the glimpses of different enemies like Bandits, Monolith faction, Pseudodog, Poltergeist, Controller, and Pseudogiant. Having appeared in past STALKER games, all STALKER 2 Heart of Chornobyl enemies featured in the gameplay trailer were seen with updated and more detailed designs.

For the uninitiated, STALKER 2 Heart of Chornobyl is scheduled for a release on September 5, 2024. The game will arrive on PC (Windows) and Xbox, along with a day one launch on Game Pass.
