Anime Adventures features two modes, including a story mode and an Infinite mode. Both modes require players to select heroes to fight and defeat demons to increase their Experience Points (XPs) and collect gems.
Initially, you start with a unit of four heroes. Once you reach level 50, you will be able to choose up to six heroes in your team. The Anime Adventures characters are categorized into four different units. These include:
- Hybrid Unit: This unit can hit enemies using air and ground elements. However, some characters turn hybrid once placed in a battle.
- Ground Unit: Another unit that provides high damage to its enemies is the ground unit. Even though they provide excellent Damage Per Second (DPS), this unit is unable to attack air enemies.
- Farm Unit: With the help of the farm units, players will be able to make money. These units help players by providing them with money. This, in turn, will help players buy XP food to increase the strength and power of their characters.
- Summoner Unit: As the name suggests, the summoner unit helps players to summon friendly and powerful NPCs during a battle.

- Tier 0: Contains the most powerful and best heroes. With high DPS and Damage over Time, make sure to have them on your team to lead the board!
