Riot Games and Netflix’s Arcane just released a new trailer for season 2 filled with gorgeous artwork and intense battle scenes. At the end of season 1, Jinx launched a bomb into the city of Piltover, which blew up the City Council. The fallout for this will be immense, as the new trailer seemed to point towards a war between Zaun and Piltover.
The Arcane Season 2 Trailer Emphasized Jinx And Vi’s Worsening Relationship
The second and final season of Arcane, based in the world of Riot Games’ League of Legends, will air on Netflix in November 2024. The first season of the animated show amassed millions of fans across the globe, winning several Primetime Emmy Awards. Sisters Jinx and Vi, who grew up in Zaun, a town riddled with crime and oppression, found themselves on opposite sides of the conflict growing between Piltover and Zaun. The end of season 1 showed Jinx’s complete transformation into a volatile and vengeful person when she launched a rocket at the Piltover Council.
The upcoming season will of course begin with the fallout of this devastating attack. In the trailer, we could see Piltover getting ready for a war against Zaun. On the other hand, Jinx becomes the face of Zaun’s revolution against the powerful city. Vi also seems to accept that her beloved sister Jinx is a completely different person now. Fans are getting ready for another season of exciting battles and plot twists.
According to the new announcement, Ashnikko is performing the theme song for the series, titled ‘Paint the Town Blue’. Hailee Steinfeld and Ella Purnell will resume their roles as opposing sisters Vi and Jinx. Katie Leung will voice Caitlyn with Toks Olagundoye as Mel Medarda, and Reed Shannon as Ekko. Get ready for the final showdown between Vi and Jinx as the two cities go to war.
